Lunch menu

We have a healthy and varied lunch menu that caters for all tastes! Bellefield School is proud to work with caterers, Innovate IFG. Innovate has long been considered the most inventive school caterer and that’s because they’re very clear about their food. All of their dishes are prepared every day using quality, fresh and seasonal ingredients that are responsibly sourced. Innovate are pleased to share with Bellefield their welcome pack which can be found at the bottom of this page.

Lunches are £2.60 per day and should be paid online in advance. 

Lunches can be ordered and paid for online using our system, Arbor. This can also be used for school trips, snack etc. 

A guide on how use Arbor to order and pay for meals can be found HERE. Arbor is the system we currently use for school communications (please see this page for further information on how to sign up).

If your child has any special dietary needs please complete the Diet From online which will be sent directly to Innovate who will tailor a menu for your child. Registrations are only necessary for children who have dietary requirements due to allergies or medical conditions. More information can be found in the Innovate welcome pack at the bottom of this page as well as the allergens section below.

Free School Meals

Every year the Government gives money to schools to help children from lower income families. This funding is called a 'Pupil Premium'. For every child registered the school gets additional funds that can be used to provide extra support and resources to help children do their very best. 

Even if you do not want your child to have a free school meal, by registering your child the school will get additional funding to provide any necessary support. You could also receive help with the cost of school trips. To see if you qualify, and to register for Free School Meals, please click HERE. You will be directed to the Wiltshire Council website where you can apply for Free School Meals.

Allergens

Innovate take food allergens very seriously and our Food Team and Nutritionists have developed an Allergen Aware Menu which is suitable for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to the three most common allergies in young children which are Gluten, Milk and Soya. 

Parents of children with these particular allergies should make their meal choices only from the Allergen Aware Menu so that our catering team can produce food which is safe for their children to eat. 

Parents of children with multiple or complex allergies should make their selection from the standard Main Menu and a copy of the full list of ingredients used is available to those parents upon request so that they can make safe choices for their child. 

Meal choices for children with allergens should be submitted to the kitchen one week in advance. The office at Bellefield School will be in contact with you should this be relevant to you.

In certain cases where the allergen needs of a child are complex or include allergies to foods outside the main 14 allergens, this will be referred to our Nutritionists who will devise a suitable menu for that child.

If a parent makes a choice for their child which includes the ingredient the child is allergic to our team will substitute this choice with a meal that is safe and suitable for that child - for the majority of people this will be a jacket potato with baked beans and a jelly for dessert.
