PSHE and RSE
At Bellefield we value the way that PHSE and RSE underpins our school ethos and how it contributes to the physical, social, emotional and mental wellbeing of our pupils. It gives our pupils the opportunities to think about big issues and how they can contribute to their local and global communities.
Each term we have a different focus where we consider ourselves, our relationships and the world around us. Each year group focuses on these themes throughout the year.
Term | Autumn 1 | Autumn 2 | Spring 1 | Spring 2 | Summer 1 | Summer 2 |

Through our school rules, Ready, Respectful and Safe, we also spend time in each term learning about our place in our school. Children learn how they contribute to their school lives and how they can be the best they can be through demonstrating our school rules. This explicit teaching of Ready, Respectful and Safe allows children to build skills of resilience, independence
