Our fantastic nursery offers the perfect environment to make children’s first experiences of school happy, safe and above all, fun!

We are an experienced and enthusiastic Early Years team led by the class teacher, Miss Lillywhite.

We are very proud of our environment and are very lucky to have such a wonderful building as well as an amazing outdoor area. We have recently developed our wild garden which now includes a natural and environmentally friendly wild area as well as a willow dome and a digging area.

Provision includes 15 hour and 30 places for children from the term following their third birthday.

Starting Nursery for children about to start at Nursery

The perfect Early Years environment

The Nursery children follow ‘The Early Years Foundation Stage’ curriculum in order to prepare them for their Reception year. By the time you are applying for a school place, your child will already be well-used to the school environment and daily routines. We know from talking to parents that this makes starting school a much simpler process.

How to apply for a place

You can download our admissions form here or if you would like to look around please contact Miss B Lillywhite on 01225 753530 or email:

Please note that children who attend our nursery are not automatically guaranteed a place at the main school, normal admissions arrangements apply for primary school reception places.

Home /Nursery relationship

As with the school, our success is built on the relationships that are made between adults and children and between home and school. Developing positive partnerships with you as parents builds trust and is critical to ensuring that your child grows in confidence and self-esteem ready to start school.

As part of this relationship building we have created a ‘parent-friendly’ environment where home and nursery activities are logged and regularly shared in an individual ‘Learning Journey' book.

We use a system called Tapestry which is hosted in the UK on secure servers. You will have secure access (via email and password) to your child’s Learning Journey and, in addition to viewing our contributions, we encourage you to add to it by uploading photos, comments and video or commenting on observations made by us.
