Margaret Stancomb Site Visit
Two representatives from Bellefield School Youth Parliament visited the old Margaret Stancomb school site with a number of current Bellefield staff members who used to work at the school. The staff found the visit very nostalgic especially when some of their display boards were still up! The pupils, along with pupils from other schools were given a tour of the site by Selwood Housing. Selwood explained the importance of affordable housing in the area and explained how the old school building was going to be converted into three terraced houses and some additional housing would also be built on the site. The children also participated in helping to lift some of the old parquet flooring and everyone had a fantastic time.
