Christmas at Bellefield 2020!
Despite all the restrictions in place, Bellefield have been celebrating the run up to Christmas in style this year.
Each year the whole school would normally visit St James' Church for their annual Christmas church service. This year was a little different with the Year 6 bubble attending and recording their service for the whole school to watch. The visit was a massive success with the children enjoying a little normality and made the school proud with some beautiful readings and Christmas carols. Normally we would invite the whole school community to this event, as we were unable to do this this year, please find below a link to watch this fantastic service online. Thank you to all those who did attend and a massive thanks to St James' who's COVID policies and procedures made for a safe and secure trip for the children.

Breakfast Club have been making the longest paper chain Bellefield has ever seen to add to the school Christmas tree.
Children in Beech class have made some Santa Bags to be provided to Julian House (Bath) this Christmas. The bags are filled with toiletries, chocolates and Christmas messages for the homeless people who will be staying at Julian House over the Christmas period.
Each class has also been busy recording some Christmas songs to be shared with parents and carers this year. The sound of their beautiful singing filling the halls once again is a wonderful thing. To hear the KS2 Christmas song please see below.
Many classes have also been busy learning about the Nativity story and the significance of the Christingle. All classes have also made their own Advent wreathes.
We were delighted to hear of Vanessa in Rowan Class and Malek in Willow Class who won the Wiltshire Libraries Christmas Colouring competition, winning 30 Christmas story books for the school. The art work really caught the eye of the judges. Well done!
