Christmas at Bellefield 2019!
Bellefield have been doing a fantastic job at getting into the Christmas spirit this year, the children can barely contain their excitement!
The classes have been studying the Christmas story and the birth of Jesus and have enjoyed making Christingles and other Advent items.
Hawthorn and Maple class performed their Nativity to all their friends and family. They did a fantastic job, singing their songs and saying their lines with confidence and smiles on their faces! The pupils and staff all worked so hard and the performance reflected that, well done all.
Chestnut, Hazel and Willow performed an outstanding rendition of the 'Jolly Christmas Postman'. All classes worked incredibly hard to produce a very festive show full of songs, dance and some excellent acting. Well done to all the pupils for their hard work and enthusiasm and also to all the staff for all the hard work they put in.
The Nursery children enjoyed a walk to the Post Box to post their letters to Father Christmas.
A group of children have visited a local Retirement Home to sing some Christmas Carols to the residents and were very well received.
The whole school have also walked down to the local church, St James's for their annual Christmas service; singing lots of Carols and listening to some excellent readings by the Year 6 children.
To finish of the term, Bellefield welcomed a special visitor, Father Christmas who visited each of the classes to say hello and well done for another excellent term.
Merry Christmas from all the Staff and Governors at Bellefield School!
