Choir Visit at Applegate House

On Friday, 6th December, Beech class helped get the Christmas Festivities underway for Applegate House (retirement property in Trowbridge). As World War II was our topic focus this term, we began the programme with a walk down memory lane singing some all time favourites of  Dame Vera Lynn, followed by emotive poetry readings written by some of the children. We then performed a variety of traditional Christmas Carols. Several of the children accompanied us on the ukuleles and Silent Night and Patrick's Reel were showcased by our violinists. A good time was had by all and the residents and guests were grateful and impressed with the talents of  Bellefield Primary.
