Religious Education
Bellefield Curriculum Overview
RE is important at Bellefield because we need to provide the children with the knowledge and understanding of beliefs and practices of religions and worldviews. We need to develop children’s confidence in their beliefs and values so they can respect and value all other religious and cultural differences. RE lessons should support children’s spiritual, moral, social and cultural development. They should offer discussion, dialogue/debate and reflection.
We are currently just beginning our second year (Cycle B) of using our new scheme 'The Emmanuel Project'.
