Bellefield Curriculum Overview

Music

Music is important at Bellefield to raise cultural capital among our pupils by immersing them in a rich and diverse environment of global and historical pieces. Music will help develop children’s coordination and rhythm as well as refining gross and fine motor skills through practical exploration. Music will allow children to communicate universally and bring the school together as a community. Children will be encouraged to think critically about musical pieces, both their own and others, as well as having the self-confidence to create and perform.
