Bellefield CofE Primary & Nursery School

Art and Design Technology

Bellefield Curriculum Overview

Art and Design / Design Technology

Art and Design Intent

Art and Design is important at Bellefield because it stimulates creativity and imagination. It provides visual, tactile and sensory experiences and a special way of understanding and responding to the world. It enables children of all abilities to communicate what they see, feel and think through the use of colour, texture, form, pattern and different materials and processes.

Design Technology Intent

At Bellefield, Design and Technology provides the stimulation to enable our children to develop the attitudes, skills and sensibilities to generate their creative capability that in turn can be applied to real life situations.
